LIGHT AND LOOSE-FITTING

The fine merino wool with silk in this turtleneck jumper is very loosely knit. The sleeves are knitted on from the top down to keep the seam nice and flat. All done in stockinette stitch without cuffs. An added benefit: You only need 150 to 175 grams of the super-soft yarn!

The jumper is knitted with ggh yarn LACY (80% merino wool, 20% silk).

You will also need: Knitting needles in sizes 5 and 6 and one 60 cm circular knitting needle in size 5.

Turtleneck sweater Fanny

Casual Understatement made with the fine merino silk mix LACY by ggh: The turtleneck sweater only weighing around 150–175 gr, feels like a soft breeze on your skin. Sleeves and turtleneck are additionally knitted on so no seam will disturb the puristic beautiful optic.  For the airy stitch pattern you will work with dpns size EU 5 mm [US/CAN 8, AU 5.0]. So even for beginners it is absolutely no problem to make it quickly.  The narrow turtleneck is very fashionable fitting snuggly around your neck and offers an appealing contrast to the delicate, slightly transparent stitch pattern.  

The LACY yarn by ggh is made from 80% mulesing-free merino wool and 20% silk and is a high-quality and fine Lace yarn for comfortably soft and light knitting projects. Ideal for fashionable shawls but also great for sweater or accessories such as head bands or ponchos. The silk ensures the scarf to fall smoothly in place and the merino wool is warm and cuddly. The modern color chart features all colors of the season: powdery pastel tones and nature nuances which can be combined beautifully.
