Sweater Mara

This Fisherman's sweater made from KID yarn by ggh is worked in rounds from the armholes onward. The decorative pattern of the Fisherman's Ribs is made by decreases in the middle of the back and front as well as the sleeves simultaneously. Sounds complicated? Once you get the hang of it the pattern starts to “speak” to you and it becomes very logically comprehensible - you start to see for yourself what you have to do next. Once you found your rhythm it becomes very easy to do.  The effect is spectacular since the diagonal lines of the Fisherman's Ribs makes this sweater look so ingenious.  A great effect made by easy knitting techniques - that’s for sure one of the characteristics of a timeless classic knitting design!
 
The KID yarn by ggh is a fluffy lace yarn made from 65% super kid mohair, 5% wool and 30% polyamide. The huge color chart includes pastel tones, vibrant colors, nature nuances as well as neutral colors. The mohair mix KID is incredibly soft and fluffy. Its perfect to cuddle into at a great price performance ratio.

Additional materials Double pointed needles (dpns) size EU 4–4,5 mm [US/CAN 6–7, AU 4–4.5] and EU 4,5–5 mm [US/CAN 7–8, AU 4–4.5] and circular needles 80 cm and 60 cm long size EU 4–4,5 mm [US/CAN 6–7, AU 4–4.5] and EU 4,5–5 mm [US/CAN 7–8, AU 4–4.5]as well as circular needles 40 cm long size EU 4–4,5 mm [US/CAN 6–7, AU 4–4.5].

You will also need: Knitting needles 4–4½ and 4½–5, one 80 cm and one 60 cm circular knitting needle 4–4½ and 4½–5, as well as one 40 cm circular knitting needle 4–4½
