Rebecca issue no. 72 – cuddly favourites. The most gorgeous models to make at home – quickly and easily!

The autumn edition is chock-a-block full of new knit patterns for jumpers, shawls, scarves, loops , coats, beanies and more. In short: everything you will need to keep happy and warm when the first autumn storms blow across the land. There are models in rich dark, warm autumn colours and in light, natural hues – light blue is right on trend this autumn, and so are bright and warm red and orange hues.

Many of the models are traditional and simple in their shape, which makes them very easy to knit. The new autumn favourites are lightweight, comfortable and loose fitting and are great to wear. For all those, who have some knitting experience or for those who want to get some: This Rebecca edition contains ribbed and structured patterns, stripes and checks, peep-holes and braids, as well as jacquard and cable patterns. And – which is, by the way, the topic of Martina Behm’s column – you should try doing something a little more complex once in a while. Be brave and try out a pattern you haven’t tried before. Our easy to follow knitting instructions will help you step by step to complete your new favourite piece.

The knitting patterns for each model can be found at the back of the magazine. As always: simple and easy to follow. All yarns used are clearly listed in the magazine, and are made by ggh – our chosen yarn brand for natural, high-quality, innovative and modern knitting yarns. There are two exceptions included in this Rebecca edition: We are quite proud to present the first two Rebecca models made with Amano yarns. Amano is the high-end yarn brand from Peru, which is sold in Germany, Austria and Switzerland exclusively by ggh. You can of course get the gorgeous yarn in amazing colours in plenty of specialist shops that carry ggh yarns. And if there isn’t a specialist shop near you – you can of course order straight from our website as well.

Here we would like to specifically endorse the charity campaign of the “Häkelhelden” (Crocheting heroes), which we wholeheartedly support. “Crocheting heroes World Champions” is an attempt to create a world record in knitting Amigurumi characters. Jon in and support this campaign if you would like to crochet and help – the great part is that all characters are meant for less fortunate kids ... Please read the story on page 4. Please visit our website for more information.

We wish you a fantastic knitting autumn and lots of fun knitting and crocheting!
