Rebecca Issue 72 – Cozy Favorites. The prettiest DIY knitting patterns – quick and easy!
A fantastic autumn issue awaits you with knitting patterns for sweaters, scarves and loops, coats, hats, and more. Everything you need to feel happy when the first autumn storms sweep across the land. Designs in dark, warm autumn colors and light, naturally bright colors—light blue is a theme, as are the bright, bold red-orange tones that are so popular this fall/winter season.
Many designs are classic and simple in shape and very easy to knit. The new "favorite pieces" are light, comfortable, and wide, making them a pleasure to wear. For those who are a bit more experienced at knitting – or who want to get more experienced: In this issue of Rebecca, you'll find rib and textured patterns, stripes and checks, eyelet stripes and braided patterns, as well as jacquard and cable patterns. And – this is also the topic of our column by Martina Behm – just dare to try something new. Try a pattern you've never dared to attempt before. Our simple instructions will help you complete your favorite piece step by step.
All the knitting instructions for the models are in the back of the magazine. As always, they're simple and understandable. All the yarns used are clearly presented and, of course, from ggh – our yarn brand for natural, high-quality, innovative, and modern hand-knitting yarns. There are two exceptions in this Rebecca issue, however: We're a little proud to present you the first two Rebecca models made with Amano yarns. Amano is the high-quality hand-knitting yarn brand from Peru, distributed exclusively by ggh in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Of course, you can find these beautiful skeins of yarn in these fantastic colors in many specialty stores that also carry ggh wool. And, if you don't have a specialty store near you, you can also find them on our website.
At this point, we'd like to highlight the charity campaign by the Crochet Heroes, which we enthusiastically support. "World Champions with the Crochet Heroes" is an attempt to set a world record for crocheting amigurumi figures. If you're interested in crocheting and want to help, please join in and support this campaign – the great thing is that all the figures benefit less fortunate children. Please also see our report on page 4. You can find more information on our website.
We hope you enjoy this issue, have a wonderful autumn, and have fun knitting and crocheting!
