Dress Nova
A one-piece outfit means you slip into this dress and are fully dressed for an active day—whether at work or out for a stroll. It's knitted in one piece from the top down—seamlessly using the beautifully printed summer yarn SOLEIA by Austermann. The yarn looks great when knitted in stockinette stitch, providing the perfect backdrop for the harmonious color gradient. The sleeves and a V-shaped panel at the neckline of the dress are designed in an airy, transparent net pattern, which SOLEIA creates a striking and clearly defined effect. Otherwise, a lot of stockinette stitch is used—in the round, this means you can relax and just let knit stitches slip off the needles, so you make really fast progress. Another advantage of knitting from the top down: You can try the piece on at any time and determine the perfect overall length for you.
The summer yarn used, SOLEIA, is a gradient yarn in harmoniously coordinated, pastel shades. It is made from 50% cotton and 50% bamboo viscose, making it a natural plant-based fiber yarn that combines the dry feel and excellent climate properties of cotton with the soft, smooth suppleness of viscose. When knitted, it creates a beautiful, even stitch pattern. It has a silky, flowing drape and is especially suitable for airy openwork and net patterns, as well as for crocheting. The color gradients are finely coordinated and based on soft, cheerful pastel colors that blend harmoniously into one another. There are four colors in total: powder, pink, pastel, and pool, all of which exude a summery, fresh, and cheerful feel.
The easy-to-follow knitting pattern for the seamlessly knitted summer dress in sizes 36/38, 40/42, 44/46 and 48/50 has been published in Rebecca No. 96, Model 4. You will also need 3 mm and 3.5 mm circular knitting needles, a long 3.5 mm circular knitting needle, 8 stitch markers
