Crochet blanket mosaic
Picnic blanket, bedspread, cozy throw, or giant shawl – you'll love using this crocheted blanket in different ways time and time again. You knit individual hexagons from fluffy, voluminous ggh SAMSON merino wool – it's best to sew them together so the blanket grows a little with each piece. We crocheted 96 hexagons following the clear crochet chart and assembled them into a throw measuring approximately 115 cm x 130 cm. When it comes to size and color distribution, you're completely free to choose your favorites – bigger, smaller, narrower, longer, more colorful, or plain – make it your own!
The SAMSON wool from ggh is made from 100% extra-fine superwash merino wool and is available in many beautiful shades. The color chart includes delicate pastels, intense earthy nuances, the trend colors of the season, and timeless neutrals. The high-quality merino wool makes projects made from this material pleasantly soft, while the yarn, with a length of 85 m/50 g, is fluffy and voluminous, creating a clear and distinct pattern in the stitch pattern. At the same time, the wool is exceptionally robust thanks to its cable yarn construction.
