A great companion
The jacket with its wide yoke is just perfect to cuddle right into. The pattern consists simply of two rows each in stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch alternating. The straight cut front and back panels are knitted in one piece. The sleeves are knitted on from the top down, which means you can create the exact sleeve length you want.

The jacket is knitted with ggh yarn MALIBU (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl).

You will also need: Knitting needles and a long circular knitting needle 3.5-4.

Knitted Jacket Xenia

The body of the jacket on eyelet pattern is worked in one piece across the shoulder, for the sleeves and the front panel you will pick up stitches from the borders and knit them on directly. That saves seams and ensures an interesting rib pattern in different directions.  Yarn of choice: the voluminous cotton mix yarn MALIBU by ggh.  The light jacket is a real styling wonder – fits any look and adds color and pep to classic or very simple outfits.

The MALIBU yarn by ggh is made from 60% cotton and 40% polyacrylic. It’s a light alternative from the usual summer yarns and offers an extra bit of volume being a fluffy yarn. The classic high-quality cotton acrylic mix creates comfortably light knitting pieces, is durable and easy to care for and washable at 30° C on gentle cycle of your washing machine. That in combination with a great color chart in many vibrant, clear colors makes it the perfect choice for children's clothes and any kind of summery clothes for her and him.
